We were able to enjoy a fun afternoon at
Snowflex at LU on Saturday July 13. It was Family Fun Day for the community. That means the price dropped from $5/hour to just $1 and they brought in to inflatable play structures and did a movie at 8pm outside. We didn't stay for the movie.

We got there about 3:15. The kids had come here last summer with their summer day camp, but this was my first time. Since it was a toasty warm summer day it was almost like a fancy slip and slide. It was still a tube full of fun! We road down over and over for an hour and then we tried out the bounce fun and a smaller slope. On the smaller slope, the rules were very relaxed and the kids could try some stunts of bravery. I think the kids almost liked the smaller slope better since they could do more than just sit in the tube and ride. I liked the big one better. But my bravery has worn off over the years,so that would make sense. I had no desire to ride halfway down and then stand up. But I did try going down on my knees and head first. Either way, it was a ton of fun, different and affordable! For $3 total the three of us enjoyed one hours of tubing and an additional hour and a half of bounce house and small slope fun!You can't beat that price tag and especially not with that variety! Thanks LU and Snowflex for providing a Family Fun day that nearly anyone can afford! I appreciate the new experiences you all gave us and allowing up to play together affordably.

After playing at snowflex, we decided to go on a hike and to view the giant LU monogram up close and personal. From most places w/i Lynchburg you seem to be able to see the GIANT LU on the mountainside.
