Pedestrian Bridge
After church on Sunday, we grabbed sonic drinks and then to the pedestrian bridge over wards road. It was installed 18plus months ago or so, but I had never been on in, nor had my kidlets. Their friends had once over a year ago.
The kids liked watching the cars zip by beneath them. We even had a race on the bridge, because it's fun and good exercise. The boys were picking out mustangs and the cooler looking sporty cars, while the girls were most happy when cars would beep at them and especially when two police cars drove by and honked. My two were convinced that it was Uncle Phil, which is possible although unlikely. The kids wanted to ride the glass elevator back down. Of course as seems typical for us, we couldn't leave without some blood sweat and tears--- Anthony cut his toe open and heck yeah that was a big time bleeder, soaking his sandal in blood. He was fine though after the magic cure of video games and a band aid.
